🔹 Role Overview

As an Experience Lead at the SolarSquare Experience Centre, you will act as a sales consultant and brand ambassador, guiding walk-in customers through their solar journey. You’ll provide tailored consultations, nurture leads, coordinate home visits, and manage in-store kiosks. Your goal is to ensure a seamless, informative, and conversion-focused customer experience, while contributing to store performance and revenue.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

Customer Consultation & Sales Conversion:

  • Greet and engage walk-in customers, offering customized solar consultations.
  • Explain solar system benefits, financing options, ROI, and available government subsidies.
  • Use digital tools and interactive content to enhance the consultation process.
  • Handle objections and explain technical concepts in a simplified, relatable way.

Lead Nurturing & Home Visits:

  • Follow up with store-generated leads through calls, messages, and appointments.
  • Schedule and conduct home visits where needed to consult potential buyers.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to plan and complete Design Evaluation Visits (DEV).
  • Maintain regular follow-ups to build trust and drive lead conversion.

Experience Centre & Kiosk Management:

  • Maintain a welcoming, clean, and informative in-store atmosphere.
  • Operate and manage experience kiosks in malls or external locations.
  • Engage walk-by traffic, generate interest, and capture new leads.
  • Participate in customer engagement events and product demo sessions.

Store Performance & Reporting:

  • Monitor conversion metrics, daily walk-ins, and overall store performance.
  • Use CRM tools and Excel to log, track, and analyze sales data.
  • Drive personal and store-level targets and incentive goals.
  • Report insights and customer feedback to enhance the buying journey.

🔹 Qualifications & Skills

Must Haves:

  • 2–5 years of experience in sales or consultative selling, preferably in solar, consumer durables, real estate, or financial products.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to simplify and explain technical topics clearly to customers.
  • Proactive and persistent in lead follow-up and closure.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and Excel for daily performance tracking.


Good to Have:

  • Background in renewable energy or a passion for sustainability.
  • Experience with in-store events, mall kiosks, or BTL activities.
  • Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
  • Fluency in regional language(s) for stronger customer connect.
