Role Overview
We are seeking a data-driven, detail-oriented, and business-savvy Manager – Data Analyst who will lead our analytics function and turn complex data into strategic insights that drive business decisions. This role will be pivotal in partnering with cross-functional teams, managing reporting frameworks, and building predictive models to solve real-world business problems.

Key Responsibilities
Business Intelligence & Reporting:
Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards and reports that track key performance indicators (KPIs) across departments.
Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports and analytics systems.
Present actionable insights and recommendations to leadership and functional heads.
Data Modelling & Analysis:
Lead the development of data models, segmentation, and forecasting techniques to support decision-making.
Identify business trends, anomalies, and growth opportunities using large datasets.
Utilize statistical and machine learning techniques to build predictive models and enhance operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Management & Collaboration:
Partner with business leaders to understand key challenges and translate them into analytical solutions.
Serve as a bridge between technical teams (data engineering, IT) and non-technical stakeholders.
Lead data-driven projects that impact customer experience, sales, marketing, operations, or finance.
Team Leadership:
Manage and mentor a team of data analysts and junior data scientists.
Foster a high-performance culture through coaching, feedback, and upskilling opportunities.
Define analytics roadmap, prioritize requests, and allocate team bandwidth effectively.
Tools & Infrastructure:
Ensure best practices in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
Work with data engineers to optimize database structures and data pipelines.
Oversee adoption and governance of BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
Key Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, or related fields.
Experience:
6–10 years of experience in data analytics, business intelligence, or data science roles, including at least 2 years in a team leadership or managerial capacity.
Technical Skills:
Advanced SQL and Excel
Proficiency in BI tools (Power BI, Tableau etc.)
Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis or machine learning
Familiarity with databases (MySQL etc.)
Soft Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
Excellent verbal and written communication for presenting insights to non-technical audiences
Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholder expectations in a deadline-driven environment
